The €150 Ladies Event kicked off with a tidy field of 11 ladies.

We wanted to give a special shoutout to Florence Mazet who is in the field. Mazet is an old friend (she’s not old, just this reporter is, but you get the idea that we have known each other for many years) and typically we work side by side at some events as she is a very talented French reporter that more recently has been dabbling with English reporting as well.

Mazet loves to play like this reporter does and she was excited about her prospects to win a trophy today.

Unfortunately, we won’t see Mazet after today as she will soon be traveling to an event in Italy before heading to Vegas for poker’s summer camp in the WSOP.

Anamaria Hemmert, Maxime Berends, Revital Dray, Flavia Gomes Guedes, Theresa Kitson, Marita Koutsouki, Monica Poggi, Carmel Reynolds, Yedidya Shmuel, and Vita Veidemane are also among the early entries.
