Players are on a 20-minute break. This could in theory be the final one of the day with 83 players remaining and 53 (or less) players advancing to Sunday’s Day 2 through the Day 1b field with at least a min-cash in hand.
We will be updating the biggest stacks from around the room during the break and players will return with blinds at 1,500/3,000 along with a 3,000 big blind ante.
Meanwhile, the Ladies Event has advanced to the heads-up action between French poker journalist Florence Mazet and Emma Oliver, who is also known by some as Em Doll. Oliver has a substantial lead but things can quickly change in heads-up play. We will update more about this event when we have a winner.
