The 2023 Battle of Malta Main Event champion Dario Barone arrived last night and was in the Day 1b field of the €450 Mystery Siege of Malta.

That didn’t work out well for the friendly Italian poker beast, so he opted to hop into the Main Event.

“I fired several times into the Main Event in October,” shared Barone earlier today. “I only fired once during the final turbo flight the event I won.”

Barone is off to a hot start and perhaps setting a new pattern as he was sitting on around a double a starting stack with approximately 60,000 in chips in his stack.

“Did you double through anyone?” we asked Barone.

“No, I have been slowly chipping up,” Barone shared.

We wish our BoM hero the best of luck in his quest to become the first two-time Battle of Malta Main Event champ. We also will keep our fingers crossed that he can advance to Day 2 with a single bullet on Day 1b.

Il campione del Battle of Malta Main Event 2023 Dario Barone è arrivato ieri sera e ha partecipato al Day 1b del Mystery Siege of Malta da 450 euro.

La cosa non ha funzionato bene per la simpatica bestia da poker italiana, così ha optato per partecipare al Main Event.

“Ho sparato diverse volte nel Main Event di ottobre”, ha detto Barone oggi. “Ho sparato solo una volta durante il turbo flight finale dell’evento che ho vinto”.

Barone è partito alla grande e forse sta definendo un nuovo modello, visto che era seduto su uno stack di partenza circa doppio, con circa 60.000 fiches nel suo stack.

“Hai raddoppiato qualcuno?”, abbiamo chiesto a Barone.

“No, ho fatto lentamente chipping”, ha risposto Barone.

Auguriamo al nostro eroe del BoM la migliore fortuna nel suo tentativo di diventare il primo due volte campione del Main Event del Battle of Malta. Incrociamo anche le dita affinché possa avanzare al Day 2 con un solo bullet nel Day 1b.
