Salvatore Caruso was the early star of the €450 Mystery Siege of Malta as during the break he chose the top €10,500 mystery bounty prize during the first of his two mystery bounty pulls.

This was not all, as Caruso also won a €1,500 mystery bounty straight after for €12,000 in mystery bounties thus far.

Meanwhile, the event is down to just 24 players, each locking up €560 with much more on the line with more bounties to be pulled and a €15,920 top prize on the line.

Udo Hemmert had the chip lead on the break and was the only chip millionaire with blinds at 10,000/20,000 along with a 20,000 big blind ante.
